Welcome to my 1929 Dible Tudor—a house whose story feels personally, almost magically, connected to my own. Built by N.W. Dible, the great-grandfather of my stepdad, John Hickok, this home carries a lineage I’m proud to honor, and a reminder that good design starts with good bones and the people who shaped them.

I wanted to showcase the home’s beautiful architectural history—the leaded-glass windows, the arched front door and interior doorways, the texture of the original plaster-and-lath walls—while updating it to feel like me and my family.

The dog in the photos is my mini poodle (and design assistant), Abe.
